State route naming: standardized or signage?

Post by AlanOfTheBerg
I got a UR which said the name Waze said didn't match the signage. I have verified that what the reporter stated appears to be true.

Standard naming convention for the segment is "State Hwy 104 Spur." However, the sign appears to read "Alternate Hwy 104." Do I rename the whole spur or just the one segment or split into a smaller segment just to get the name read correctly to match signage?

I agree on both counts. There are no street corner signage between there and 101 that I could see.
