Hmm strange.. I remember it as already being the ferry type, but now it's a minor highway, which is definitely wrong.. I suggest that we change it (back) to ferry, since it's a ferry hehe..

Hi again. It's strange, since we haven't had the problem with routing on ferry lanes. We are using it multiple places in Denmark, and the routing server routes quite fine through those. But I guess it's because of Øresunds bridge, that there's a problem. I'm not CM in Denmark, but I believe it's okay to keep it as a minor highway, if the routing somehow goes wrong with the ferry segment.

First I deployed a ferry segment but we had route issues. Therefore we had to replace it with a road segment.

In Sweden we don’t deploy ferry segment with one exception to Gotland and Fredrikshamn.

There is a discussion if we should or not map ferries traffic Gotland and Fredrikshamn because they doesn’t match the WiKi criteria’s.

The possible route issue is to high penalty on the ferry segment.

As you mention often this problem occur if there is an alternative route deployed which is not a ferry segment like Öresundsbron.
