Scandinavia/Nordics

Actually, Scandinavia only consists of the three countries Norway, Sweden and Denmark, hence the Scandinavian cultures and languages.

If you add Finland and Iceland it is as a matter of fact called the Nordic countries (or the Nordics).

Just recently found this thread. I agree with drosjekusk that the Nordics would be more accurate name for these five countries. Maybe the new forum corrects this.
