Caution when editing in other countries

When traveling to other countries there is always tempting to make some edits there. This is not a new issue and there are several forum threads about this.
The problem that can occur when editing in other countries is that the editor don't know the local best editing practice. There are also a problem when the editor has a higher editing rank and overrides locked roads.
