Doing well!

Post by rorygren
I would like to congratulate the people Wazing and editing online from Cape Town!

I think you guys are doing a brilliant job and are showing the rest of the country up!

I was down in Cape Town a few weeks ago and tried the Waze navigation from Baauwberg to the Airport (with my GPS as a backup ... still nervous to trust Waze, it being so new and all in SA... ) I noticed Waze taking me a different route to what my GPS suggested! Three times I followed my GPS and headed into a hectic traffic snarl up, turned around and reverted to following Waze!

The fact that there are a large number of people in CT who just drive with Waze turned on and that they go online and edit their tracks really shows!

I only realised when I got to the airport that Waze was actually doing what it was supposed to do ... avoiding bad traffic!

Well done and thanks, guys!

I'm going up to Jo'burg next week .... let's see how those guys do in comparison!
