Tomorrow is their last work day of the week, and I think that previous planned installs/updates on Thursday haven't gone in as proposed. Usually, we've received major updates like this on a Sunday, which makes much more sense as they are then around all day to fix lingering issues

You can subscribe to the feed of status.waze.com. There are likely some online feed aggregators which may also integrate with your phone and you could, if you don't have a smartphone, elect to get SMS msgs when a feed updates, etc.

If you have a smartphone, there are apps like Tapatalk which allow you to read the forums outside of a browser. You can also, once there is a thread about an issue, subscribe to the thread and get email updates when the thread gets posts.

Probably not exactly what you were looking for, but there are some useful options.

Very nice. I concur. I hope this is a fix, not a one-time special update patch thing.

I still show the last update was 8/11. If things were working correctly without intervention, we should see multiple updates per day. That's why the time is listed on the Rank section.

We're better than before, but still not updating as frequently as it used to or is designed to.

Ditto. For Rank, that's nearly 4 days delayed. Not especially good for a process which used to update multiple times per day.

They kick-started the points update for NA and points are updated as of 8/16. Krankyd wrote on the status site that they should be working fine, but I don't know if they have made the process run less frequently now...

And dangit, I dropped a rank again! :(

It had been asked many times, and so there is a entry in the FAQ on the wiki. Short answer: it takes several days for Waze to process routes. Longer routes also take more time than shorter routes so you may see more recent shorter routes before older longer ones. Waze used gps data for more than just showing users their routes.
