Well there's two of them now. cclag123 has joined him with 289686 points for the week so far, jumping 9757 places since yesterday.

That's actually a more reasonable and possible score.
In ONE day?

Their Road layer (street names, geometry, addresses, and POI) is licensed from NavTeq, and is covered by copyright. Their StreetSide imagery (which is horrible) is their own thing and may or may not have been licensed to Waze for use.

I am just a baby waze and I drove over 500 miles. I have almost 2200 points. Why doesn't the application updates my status? This is getting very frustrating. Please advise.

Ok, but it's been more than a month since my app is not updating. On waze website I am not a baby anymore, but in the app my status hasn't changed.

I am also doing maths with my dashboard and, following the explanation in this thread (in Spanish), the results are almost exact (error < 1 point) in the time interval [12/24, today]. This also means that no points for munching 750pt candies are being added, and no points for adding new street names to the maps. :(

A quick translation:
Driving

Record new streets- 1 point / 25 m
Cookie munching - 1 point / 100 m
Drive existing road - 1 point / 312.5 m
Offline driving (existing roads) - 1 point / 652 m

Editing

Map edit - 8 points / 5 edits
Update requests - 3 points / solved one
Street number - 3 points / edit
Street name - 3 points

Other

Forum - 2 points / 3 messages
Reports - 6 points
Report comment - 3 points
Goodies and surprises - X

Some of the top editors on here, and I don't mean by points, have been editing for a long long time and getting nowhere near scores like that. My highest ever weekly score is around 27k and involved editing for roughly 6 hours a day for 6/7 days! To suggest the effort I have put in over almost 2 years of dedication can be achieved in 6-10 weeks is nothing short of insulting.

From my point of view, it is not only the bulk amount of points what makes a great wazer. And that applies particularly well to you, Darren, and the other champs and others, to whom many of us are really grateful.
