When will my scoreboard give me credit for driving 500 miles in a week? I drove over 500 miles in a week during that period when points were not updating properly. . It still shows that I did not reach this goal. Thanks!

Sometimes waze also just stopped. See my post in the Client Forum about 750 bonus candies.

From my observations of the 750-point candy pop-ups (and I've seen a lot of them ;)), here's how they occur for me:
1. I have to come to a complete stop for a few seconds (enough for the speedometer on Waze screen to show 0 mph -- even 1-2 mph doesn't seem to be slow enough to trigger the candy). :?
2. After starting up again, the candy will pop up at the next junction node on the map in the direction that I'm going (or that Waze thinks I should be going, if navigation is on).
3. To get another earned candy ... repeat from step 1 :) (even if the next stop is at the other end of the interstate).

I've had an interesting bug over the last couple of days, though. Sometimes I'll hear the sound of the candy appearing, but no candy will appear on the screen; when I arrive at the junction, however, I hear the trumpets and my little car goes all "" on me. I appear to get the points, but the candy doesn't show on-screen ... but only sometimes ... usually it's visible. Weird. :?

I commute far more than 500 miles a week, and can confirm: the 500 miles in a week is a 1 time bonus.

Did you maybe not get credit for it the first time?

I see this for other bonus candies, that if for example you are not connected to the network at the time. It appears that the bonus needs to be registered as "eaten" at the time it is, and is not stored for upload later.

You are kidding! How can we get them to resolve that? I am new to Waze and the scoring issues began pretty much as soon as I signed up. This happens all the time? I don't understand why they can't go back and apply all of the 500 mile peoples' points. I keep looking every day, assuming that they will show up.

I've seen that, but I think that's the Valentine's candy spontaneously appearing.

I picked up 11 editing candies today. I was in stop and go traffic for over an hour today for the first time in a couple of weeks. I must've had a backlog. I probably put 40 hours into editing last week. I haven't been getting much sleep.

I've found that recently, it puts the candies pretty close, so I haven't often had the issue of the candy appearing after a turn I wanted to make. When navigating, the candy is always on the route, but if I go against navigation and it recalculates, it won't move a candy that's already popped up.

One day, you'll probably be in heavy stop and go traffic and you'll pick up 100 candies. :D

I also find that I'll get a couple of candies near the beginning of a drive, and then nothing for a while, regardless of stops. But if I shut down Waze because I'm getting out of the car, when I start Waze back up, I'll get a couple more candies.

Mostly true about the stops, but don't forget when we were in Palo Alto and we were both getting them in slow traffic on the Freeway.

I drove all the way from New Orleans to Hattiesburg yesterday and when I got off the Interstate and stopped at a light, that's when the message popped up about 500 miles. Then I got two editing candies. After driving back to New Orleans, once I got close to home, a couple more popped up.

I finally got it today. A message popped up telling me. Then I got the candy a minute later.

Then about 10 minutes later, I got this:

I've never seen these announcements before. I got 4 more editing candies over the next couple of hours but didn't get the message again.
