Waze doesn't have customer service because the app is free and none of us are customers. But you can open a ticket with user support here.

Not according to the strict dictionary definition, but let's agree to disagree.. you just might be disappointed to realize they don't see things the same way you do.

They're supposed to do it once a week, but there is currently a delay of about 10 days, while it is common to have delays around the holiday season (sometimes reaching closely to a month), we still reported the issue to staff who said they were checking. Even if they manage to force an update soon, you can expect that we'll see more delays until the end of January.

As explained several times in the last 9 pages full of questions and answers about this:

• There is a help page about this: I appear as a baby Wazer
• It's also currently* in the known issues (*at the time of this post)
• This status usually gets updated once a week around Sunday-Monday
• Re-installing your app will not fix it, it might even make your wait longer by resetting stats each time you do it
• To people who have reported having waited more than a week:
  • You most likely haven't noticed but there is currently a delay in points updates
  • During such delays, if points are not being updated, the baby Wazer status also gets stuck until the situation gets resolved, that's just the way it is.
  • It is common for the points server to have delays around the holiday season, please see this thread:

Please note, there is nothing that we - community members - can possibly do about points or status, and Staff does not read this forum, so:

• Addressing them with messages containing @Waze, @Staff or any other variation won't get their attention.
• Using caps or other means to show frustration - won't work either.
• Getting angry at us or complaining about it here - useless since we can't technically look into it (we don't have access to user accounts databases or the points server)
• Adding dozens of "me too's" or "I've waited 100 weeks" or "I've driven 1'000'000 miles/kilometers" will absolutely do nothing more than to flood this thread with useless messages where the main information which I've listed above will get lost and we'll have to start repeating the same again and again since people don't read previous pages.

Finally, this situation is due to the fact that Waze has never updated their points server in the past years. Since Google bought the company and that the community of users has grown their focus has been on new and other features only. The Points server is basically a dinosaur which was built for a much younger app with much fewer users than what Waze has today. As we've been seeing over the years, it usually works "ok" most of the time, but there are always hiccups around the holiday season because people don't just commute from home to work, but use Waze to go across the country to visit relatives..
This creates more traffic than usual and always results in points delays because this old server just cannot keep up, it always eventually does but it sometimes takes it several weeks to catch up. Imagine this a bit like if your local Post Office would still employ only one employee in the same small office for a town which has grown to 10x it's original size.. The once effective worker would have a hard time to continue to manage everyone's mail effectively, that's what's happening to the points server.

Believe me when I tell you that there is nothing you can do except to wait. I know some people cannot handle waiting, well, sorry, if I had a fix or magic solution I'd share it, I just don't. All I can do is share with you what I know to be true as we've observed it many times over the years.

Yes, don't uninstall/reinstall the app. You're only making it worse for yourself by doing that as it usually triggers the Baby Wazer status for another week. Leave the app some time to sync.
