Did I lose my 2000 bonus points for 5 friends?

The other day I linked my Facebook account to my waze and I got the first friend bonus points pretty quickly. For some reason the 5 friends bonus took longer to register. When I got home and was getting out of the car waze notified me that I got the 5 friends achievement and that the candy was ahead. Well I was done driving and shut off waze.
The next day when I used waze the candy wasn't ahead, I didn't receive the points and when I go into scoreboard the 5 friends achievement is shown as completed.
So did I screw myself out of those 2000 points? Is this a glitch? Will the points post at some point in the future even tho the achievement already shows completed?
