This problem is most likely specific to your accounts. As "Points Expert", I track all my dashboard stats in a spreadsheet so I can look for anomalies (I guess that's why they made me the Point Expert
I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary on my account.
I did notice that the scoreboard didn't update last Tuesday, and as a result, the weekly top scorers didn't reset. If that was the problem, I would have noticed, as it would have caused me to lose about 40,000 points.
They're performing a points audit on both of you to try to see what happened. Give it a day or two.
