With a Global system which timezone does this comment refer to?
Does this differ for the NA and World servers?

Many people periodically find problems surrounding their points or rank. The Waze Wiki covers a vast majority of these questions.

Two particular entries are focused on the topic of rank and points and should be reviewed first before posting a question on this topic in the forums.

Your Rank and Points - This page covers a lot of topics including "My Dashboard", how points are calculated, bonus point opportunities, ranks in the client and map editor, VIP users, and Waze Champs.

FAQ - The most common questions are covered in this extensive list. Most people will run into these questions at some point, so it might be good to review them all in advance. The FAQs most related to Ranks and Points are:

If you don't see it please feel free to post your question as a new topic. If you are new as in only one or two weeks in, there is a current problem with the servers showing your points and likely updating any ranking info. They are working the problem and it may not be sorted out before sometime Sunday or Monday. Rest assured all your data is being collected.

Separately you should be sure you are logged into the proper server as show in the links in the OP.

I've been reading through this information, but I'm a brand new wazer and I still don't understand what's going on.

I have no points. Not in the app and not on the site. I've been driving and reporting, but I still don't have any points. I thought that I read that it should update the server each time the app is closed, but this original post here says something about points being calculated weekly? I did check that it's not a dashboard issue.

Please help me understand if there's a problem and what to do about it.
