Previously munched roads open to munch again?

I've seen this in my neighborhood a couple of times. I'll munch the roads immediately around my house, and a few days later those same roads are awarding munching points all over again. BUT... other roads that I've munched are still marked as munched, and I'm fairly certain no other Waze users would have thought to detour just to munch those particular roads.

So what is going on here?

Slight problem there. The Dashboard is still weeks behind. I'm still at zero miles and zero routes after nearly three weeks of use. But now the client map is showing the first set of edits I made, so there's hope. The web site live map is still behind the device map though.

As for live map being behind device Map, that shouldn't be the case! Are you pointing to the right server? World.waze.com rather than http://www.waze.com!?

www.waze.com is the right one for USA maps. World.waze.com has no roads for my locale.

The map on my Evo had the corrections I made a couple days prior when I drove home from work this morning. The live map on the web site still does not reflect those same changes.

I also noticed the GPS fix no longer had me bouncing all over the place on one particular stretch of road as I drove through. Progress is being made :)

I tried zooming out until I couldn't see the individual roads anymore. The deleted roads are still on the web site live map. They're corrected on the phone app, so I'm not complaining... yet. ;)

For whatever reason the server doesn't feel like it got enough data for that section. Could be you momentarily lost your data connection at some point meaning it wasn't sure how long it took to travel, or perhaps your GPS wasn't quite close enough to the original track. This could of course be because the original is slightly misplaced!

You can check the latter by viewing your archived route on the dashboard! If it's green it tracked accurately, yellow it wasn't exact but the server deemed you to be close enough. Red and it couldn't match you to an existing segment!

Keep in mind that most of the times WAZE offers munching for one direction, or maybe for both directions.
So someone might notice that got over a road and nothing happened. But when he travels the other way, he gets the points...

Hope this helps

so be it - manemoi

Are you looking at the live map at the closest zoomed in level? I've noticed that any other zoom levels have roads that I deleted over a month ago on them.
