Just to update all of you guys. I have been told that Hong Kong will be separated from Mainland China in term of driving system in a couple of weeks. So we will have Hong Kong own country name. All segment's naming may have to be amended. I think it is good to have a convention to standardise the road naming format.

Thank Editot, I nearly reminded Waze once a month of this issue but always has not ETA . Good to see more ppl to give pressure on Waze and hope it will be sorted out shortly. I'll see some Waze's staffs in the London. I'll try to remember to ask them question.

The person who deal with the issue wad not there so I did not have a chance ask. Where did you submit your ticket? I have a faster channel to reach them. I know they did resolve some issues but for the Hong Kong one, they said it is not easy as we thought. Possibly they do not prioritize this

Just got a news today Waze has deployed the fix but not sure if Hong Kong region is included. They said it may take 3-4 weeks.

Hi Editot, Waze confirmed me that Hong Kong is included in the fix. Hope we will see the implement shortly

Hong Kong has her own country field now, i.e. Hong Kong (China).

Start from now on, please change all segment with Hong Kong (China) in the country field.

I've asked Waze to change the country name for us but no reply yet.
I had a script but it's not working now since the WME has been updated.
Note that the roundabout issue has not been resolved. Waze has replied and said that HK is too close to China so they are working on it.
