Routing for Dual-Carriageways

Post by miezarnd
Dear Seniors,

I know dual carriageways is not recommended for Waze in malaysia except for Major Highways. But what if we want to go places that were on the other side of the road and the road to U - turn away from this place (regardless whether it is street, primary road or etc)?

Regards,

* Sorry if this questions already being answered in the past...

Actually, there are specific guidelines for this in the wiki here.

Further reading about the topic can be found here and here.

If you found a route which you think needs to be split to give accurate routing, consult the Area Manager/Country Manager for advice or, you can post the permalink here to get feedback from the community.

Thanks Yus, now I understand the reason.

But a if I found on site is DC-way but in WME stated as single segment, I draw access roads to the place (POIs) with TR so that waze user will be routed to use a U-Turn. This will reduce waze user headache if waze suddenly stop showing the routing due to the POI were at the other side of the roads.

If I draw the access roads for POIs from the other side of the single segment, the routing will inform users to use U-Turns or using any junctions to reach the destination.
