Traffic reports in one direction only?

Postby larryd517 » Sun Dec 09, 2012 4:48 pm

Is there any way to have Waze show traffic conditions in one direction only?
If I'm traveling eastward, it provides little benefit to see a large number of westward traffic warnings. As such, a user is likely to ignore the warnings (assuming it's for the other traffic lane).
Is it possible to have alerts add an option for "my direction" or "other direction". This way the warning system would provide greater value to the users.

No. The main reason why? Rubbernecking.

I suggested a "Rubbernecking" report/condition just for this reason....

I agree there needs to be a rubbernecking icon because it is the only way to collect data to prove to the DOT that something needs to be done to help prevent "rubbernecking". I have a product that would work great called the GawkStopper.
