L2→L1 Unlock: R684, R683 unlock to allow station roads

Postby world_qf2vjzil » Sat May 18, 2019 10:19 pm

Hi folks

Could I get these two segments reduced to L1 so I can connect the internal roads for the Applegreen station I just added?

Thanks

Work away :)

I've also added the website and some other bits to the Applegreen place, and raised it to L2 which is the standard.

Thanks Yanis

I've joined the roads - so you can revert the roads to L2; not happy with one of the joins - but it works for now; I'll see if I should change the geometry slightly next time I'm out there.

I'd held off the website as I was trying to see if there was a way to deeplink to the actual garage page - but it seems there isn't - even via mobile; I'll know to add them in the future.

Also - is +353 xx yyyyyy our preferred/standard phone number format?

Thanks

Thanks, I've raised the lock now. The joints look good I think :)

We don't have a guideline for phone number format but I'm thinking of our international visitors who might struggle if the +353 part is not there (depending on their home network), so I always ago with +353 xx yyyyyy.

Once we're on the topic of POI details, I always also go with http(s)://website.com - this way the app only shows website.com

According to ITU-T standard E.123, "+353 xx YYY YYYY" (for internationally-recognisable numbers) or "0xx YYY YYYY" (for locally-recognisable numbers) are the ONLY standard number formats. I'd probably go for the +353 version first, because that's recognisable to international visitors but it also dialable on a local mobile phone.
