Unlock and update requests

Post by davidg666
For map editors: please post to this subforum whenever you need somebody to clear a lock on a road segment or make some other change that you can't make yourself for some reason (such as the lock level being too high or the segment being outside your editing area).

This is what your request should include (copied shamelessly from the UK's posting guidelines for the same purpose, and modified slightly):
  • In the subject line, summarise the location and the lock level change you want. For example: "L5→L3 Unlock: Kilmainham (R811 SCR)"
  • Select the relevant segment(s) and copy/paste the Permalink into your post.
  • Provide a short explanation of why you are requesting the change.
  • Indicate if you are an Area Manager for your requested segment(s), and your editing rank
  • For closure requests, please include dates, times, a brief reason to display in the client and (if you have any) online references.
  • Locks will be reduced to the appropriate level based on the rank of the requester.
Note that a higher level editor may choose to fix the problem themselves so higher value segments will remain protected at their level.

When your request has been resolved, please mark your post (by clicking on the green tick button) so that everybody knows it doesn't still need attention.

Hey Darren,

New map editors are always welcome, and the more the better. No previous experience needed; just be willing to learn as you go.
