I don't think the part of the road you suggest should be split into two segments - that would only complicate the junction unnecessarily.

Do you not think that restricting the left turn between these two segments would solve the problem and avoid making things too complicated?

While we're at it, I think these segments should probably be removed too...

That wouldn't be correct, as turning left when coming this way is allowed.

Oops - you're absolutely right; I missed that! I've lowered the adjacent lock to L3.

I noticed you like them alright :) ... I prefer not to use them myself (I like to keep junctions as simple as possible) but I think they're OK so long as the instructions to Waze users make sense. I prefer "turn left" approaching a junction to "keep left", and I've noticed that if the angles are wrong on these extra turning lane segments, "keep left" instructions are given.

So please don't be offended if I ever tidy up junctions by deleting segments that I think are unnecessary - but you're right that they are also a personal preference - I definitely won't go around deleting segments that you've created without good reason (so I'd have to be tidying up a junction for other reasons before I'd delete any of these segments).
