If you are looking to change the color layer, that will happen automatically over time once it says "HEY! CITY UPDATE!" The form will tell waze to delete, combine, rename, etc certain city layers and will not help you in your task.

I've nearly used the form myself to update the colored layers and was warned against as its only supposed to delete or merge data. So if you have two cities of the sane name it'll work great. But if you're just trying to update the polygon I would give it a week first.

This is only sometimes true, even after Waze runs the process the polygons can still sometimes get stuck. In that case you need to contact your Regional Coordinator and have them ask Waze to give it a bump to update.

From my understanding, essentially the best way is to raid all roads with correct city name. This will eventually auto correct and display proper city areas.

I've been doing that in some less developed areas, and have witnessed the change of city names over 1-2 weeks time.
