General Settings Questions

In the "General" section of my Waze app (Android), I have two settings:

"Prevent Auto-Lock," and "Keep Waze on Top."

Switching the "Prevent Auto-Lock" switch one way or the other appears to have no effect... Waze is present - and prevents my screen from sleeping - if the application is on-screen. If it's not, then my phone screen will go to sleep. What does this setting do, then?

Switching "Keep Waze on Top" appears to do nothing either.

Ideas?

"Keep Waze on Top" will force Waze to stay on top during a phone call. Say if you use blue tooth in your car and such and accept a call. Waze will still be the app showing so you don't lose your maps during a phone call.
