Yesterday I was quite frustrated with the Waze app on my Droid. I started the app, selected navigate to home, and then got no info - three times. I'm on a motorcycle so I turn the screen off and pocket the phone. Each time right after I started the app and put the phone away so I could focus on my riding with directions I got a notification - a text message, a meeting reminder, etc. When I came to a stop where I could take my hands off the handle bars I'd clear the notification, start the app again, and then go then the next one popped up. Grrr. Is there a way to have the app keep running and giving me data even though there is a phone pop-up notification on the screen? This is really annoying and makes the app useless.
