Traffic on Route Display

Post by iahim
I would love to have a bar at the bottom of the screen that displays the traffic on the current route, so I don't have to keep scrolling the map to see the traffic ahead. I'm thinking something similar to the bar shown during the route selection. I know Waze will reroute automatically, but it's nice to see what's ahead or if the conditions change.

You're right but when you press on routes it takes time to display it because the server calculates alternate routes. And it doesn't allow you to see changes in traffic conditions, unless you keep pressing routes every few minutes.

Hey Guys,

I had almost the exact same great idea.
Heres a link to my post http://www.waze.com/forum/viewtopic.php ... 71#p161471.

I also suggested this feature to 'Uservoice', so vote for this useful feature and who knows, maybe we'll see this in the next major release. Vote here. http://waze.uservoice.com/forums/59223- ... bar-to-map

here a link to user voice where you can vote for this idea to be impletement in a future version. it has to get enough votes to be included. Link http://waze.uservoice.com/forums/59223- ... bar-to-map

Vote so we can get this implemented.

Not going to lie but on the Android version I could swear it shows a complete route with colors to indicate traffic on the route. This gives you the option to see alternate routes.

I like this idea even though this can be seen fairly easy by pressing routes.
