Accepted as AM on forums but email saying I was denied

Hello.

When I made the AM app I joined the AM user group but after two weeks I got a email saying that my app was denied, over on the forums I got accepted onto the user group so I am now a fake AM, do I get booted off or do I make that my default user group?
