So after a VERY frustrating experience with the NEW update (13 March 2015) my app was very unstable. It would crash every ~10 minutes. So I uninstalled and tried to log back in. But surprise surprise, I can't. I never put an e-mail address in (and apparently a password).
I had to sign up for a new account just to get in here to ask this question. Apparently when you sign up for a new account, you don't even need to put in a password.
Sooooo, my question is, if you are going to require me to put a password in to verify my account (beyond the phone and number used), why am I not prompted to MAKE a password upon creation? And since I did not change the password (like I did to log in here), what is my password to log in? Is there a default password or what? I'll post my original username if someone from Waze support can actually help.
I forgot to mention I've tried ALL the recovery options. The text I get "when I have a username but no password" just sends me back in to the app sign in screen because you need to already be signed in on your phone to change your password. Why would I even need to do that if I am already logged in!?...ridiculous.
