Waze is a navigation app only for cars. Please don't pollute our map data.

Yes, please don't. Using Waze on a train can result in you polluting real traffic data on adjacent roads. Google Maps is more than adequate for what you probably want to do - review progress - although it doesn't give you the train's speed. You can get that from a GPS Test tool.
