Prompt volume - mine doesn't work

iphone 4, and always up to date.

I've always got Pandora going in the background with my stereo volume matching That. Waze volume is Much higher than Pandora. So the alerts just about blow my ears off.

It's nice that there's a prompt volume adjustment, but it doesn't work for me.

Hmmm, I do the same, often streaming from some app, and the prompts volume works fine for me. Are you sure it's the prompts (navigation) that is too loud and not things like alerts or rerouting sound? Because those other things aren't affected by the Prompts volume slider.

Volume adjustment with Waze has been problematic for over 6 months now. They have never gotten it right. The "Device volume" slider doesn't actually adjust the device volume either, so that is also misleading and they've never figured out how to make it work the way users expect.
