Waze is not for cycling. By using it on a bicycle, you are polluting traffic data, so please do not use it on your bicycle.

A very common request, something that may eventually be in the works but it's way down the list. And a quick search would have revealed just a few of the thousands of requests for the feature.

If you follow Waze's directions you will always, by design, end up on the roads with the fastest traffic. Good luck!

Not to step on any toes here at Waze, but here's a suggested app - only for the iphone (so far): Get there by Bike, one of the Standout Apps for 2012. Obtain bike friendly directions taking into account traffic, hills and off-street bike paths I'm a cyclist (and an adroid user), but don't use my Bianchi for commuting.

The above is true. Not saying I haven't done it though. Was traveling on my bike and missed a turn and didn't notice for a while. I had no real clue where I was at so turned on waze and it got me back on track. Waze on a bike might not be the best idea though... Sounds like an accident in the making.

Didn't have that issue. Was literally out in the middle of nowhere. Fastest road was probably 55mph. Sounds stupid to be on roads where traffic is moving so much faster but you get used to it and most people here give you plenty of room.

It would definitely be awesome to have a cycling option. Much like Google Maps, Waze could have bike routes which would save tons of time. Especially since they are editable. PLEASE MAKE THIS A FEATURE!
