Removal of Accident Icons/Flags

Need to be able to remove accident icon/flags with a not there button like police and car on shoulder. The accident flags sometime stay on to long after the fact.

I think Waze has already considered this and does not want to do it. Yet. I would suggest this would be useful, yes, but filtering must be applied such that you can only mark these "Not there" if you are within, say, 500m of the location. (This type of suggestion and response has been posted dozens of times in the forums before.) Otherwise, someone could, and someone always does if it is possible, sit at home and browse around the country and tap Not There on every report they find. (Yes, someone would do this for "fun.")

Yep, that's what the posts at the top say. There is criteria for when you get the "not there" popup.

The not there button only appears for Hazards reported for the direction you are travelling in on roads you are travelling on.

I think "Not there" should be for anything really. Accidents, etc.

Maybe I'm reading this thread wrong, but I believe what is trying to be said is that under the proper conditions "Not there" is an option for anything including accidents, etc.

yes, this I understand, if not wrong this is a Thoughts and Suggestions forum and I was making a suggestion to add the not there button to accident icon/flag?
