Make Waze Weather Aware

Postby nathanjmassey » Tue Jan 22, 2013 4:53 pm

It would be awesome if Waze could use local weather reports to help navigation.

A good example would be the recent snow that hit the UK. If Waze was 'weather-aware' it could help you avoid smaller side roads and stick to the main ones (which are more likely to have been cleared/gritted).

If Waze also had data around the elevation/incline of roads, it could also help you stick to flat roads so that you don't end up struggling to get past any steep snow covered roads.
