we could create a custom route via the website and it would magically appear in the app the next time we used it?

That would be a nice feature. Similar to gmaps where you can drag the route line around via little "waypoints."

Though one of the main points of Waze is to find the best route for the time of day you are driving, there are often reasons why you don't want to go the fastest route, like touring/vacation.
