Has anyone else experienced Private Messages disappearing?

A editor that I have been communicating with mentioned that he had the issue yesterday, and now it has happened to me twice in the last few hours.

Mine appeared to send ok, but then are not in either my Sent or Outbox folder when I tried to go edit one after I had submitted them.

I have not experienced any issues.

It may have been a temporary issue. Today everything is going out fine.

I have tried to search for the hyphens in username issue and have came up blank so far. Does anyone have a link, or remember more about this?

If it indeed is still an issue, I want to recommend that the Wazer change his uid before applying to be an AM.

FWIW, this user has a hyphen in his username, in case that makes a difference. For some reason I recall that certain names cause the PM system to fail, just can't remember which ones.

The hyphens may have been an issue with wiki editing, now that I think about it.
