If you mean the update time between cartouche and livemap I can agree, areas I edited almost a week ago still havn't been updated!

and for the aerials... check out http://world.waze.com/cartouche_bingtest instead, the maps for Växjö is really really great and the old ones was just terrible, as soon as you leave the town tough they wont work but Ume' looked promising

regarding the response times are you using the international servers, i.e. world.waze.com instead of www.waze.com when using CarTouche?
I'm using waze in Stockholm and Dalarna and I agree that sometimes the servers lags, but mostly they are working as one could expect from a free service.

The low resolution bugs on the aerials bugs me to, but I haven't found any other map provider that gives me satisfying resolution when looking slightly off-city.
But the more reason to keep bulldozing new roads

So they are doing some maintance on the world servers, could be one reason for the lag.
