[Page Update] USA/Road names - Ramp names

Post by dBsooner
I am proposing adding the following bullet point prior to the existing bullet points for Ramp Road Names. Guidance on the Carpool, HOV, Transit lanes page contradicts the USA/Road names page. Adding this bullet point prior to the others will point the reader to the guidance for these special cases.
If an exit is to or from a Carpool, HOV, Transit Lane (including HOT, express lanes, clean air vehicle lanes, etc.), please read and follow the guidance specifically set for these situations, depending on the map setup.
Wordsmiths welcome. Basic update. Shouldn't be a big discussion as the HOV page has been hashed out and is complete. This update brings the USA Road names page into alignment, as it should have been done when the HOV page was published.

Agreed with this. Of course it is the intent for HOV rules to supersede regular naming rules where they are in conflict.

Some clarification, I suggest:
Ramp-type segments used for entrances and exits to [[Carpool, HOV, Transit lane]]s (including HOT, express lanes, clean air vehicle lanes, etc.) should be named according to the guidance specifically set for these situations, depending on the map setup.
We're not only, or entirely, talking about actual ramps here, as the situation also includes fictional ramps we use for entry/exit into a limited-enter/exit (transition zone) lane, and that is the situation where it is most important to leave the ramp segments unnamed (because seeing "to I-123" would be confusing for someone in a transition zone on the I-123 HOV lane).
