Ok, I hadn't heard that before, so no problem with changing the category then for the under renovation or construction of new places.

So what is resolution for those that are out there now? Just let them expire and change back when reopened or when Google Maps updates to show perm closed and the deleted?

jm6087 wrote:Since the name is only shown in the app on area places, I am guessing that the visible name in the app is part of the polygon data and not the details and would require the trigger update for the tiles.
Has this been tested?

I think this bug is an annoyance, not an interruption to a core / critical feature of Waze navigation.
If it looks like fixing this bug is going to be on the back burner with Waze team, then we can request a new feature in WMEPH to compensate, which would prompt editors to spot and fix as they work on PURs and other issues.

Recommend an edit to step 8. The example (03:00-03:01, Monday) doesn't work on Android phones. This only effects the day selected in Open Hours. Any time range will work on other days. On that day though, the app displays "Open now 24 hrs" instead of Closed.
This seems to be related to having the open and closed times within the same hour. Using 02:59-03:00, avoids the issue while maintaining the short time range.
We'll need to confirm that the change won't effect iOS phones.
