Delhi - Temporary Road changes due to Metro

Post by mcaiisa3
Just wanted to check if everybody agreed with making road changes and delete segments that are not usable during long standing road closures. I think one of these is at Janapath.

There's an option exclusively for road closures!

This option for Road Closure applies to Short Term Road Closures Only(Less than a Week). For any period more than a Week, the methodology, suggested elsewhere on this thread, are to be used please.

Hey there, we meet again!

No, please don't delete the segments that are closed right now. Close access to them, or at the most, disconnect them from open segments but do not delete them. I think I have already closed access to them the last time I edited that area.

or, even better, you can change the road type to Dirt Road. This way they'll appear only faintly on the client but the road and all its data will be preserved.

I thought as much! After I posted it, I came to this conclusion, you actually need to handle it from WME. We REALLY DON'T know in how much time this Metro project is gonna get over... :?

As it is that link is viewable to expertise only...

Please do not delete any segments, Check this post it will help you understand the importance of the existing segments http://world.waze.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=171&t=35150

As its temporary its better to disconnect it rather then deleting them, this way we will have the segment data once the work is over and its reconnected.
