Cant edit in my driving area in Bangalore

Hi,
I am relatively new here. Drove around 300km. Initially I was able to edit maps in my driving area. Now no edit is allowed for me. Is it related with base-map change?

The base map import has been delayed as of today.. Will post more details when I get them please.

i even faced this problem, also noted that map is not updated, its showing old satelite image, how often the maps are updated ? do guide :)
