Office Hours: Falcon MapRaid Impact

Postby BrettC0 » Wed Mar 24, 2021 2:28 pm

Hey Everyone!

We are super excited to announce a very special edition of Office Hours that is all about celebrating YOU! That’s right, the time has come to reveal the impact of the Falcon MapRaids!

Join us for two very special sessions with Gil Disatnik, where he’ll be giving us play-by-play recaps of how editors all over the world turned out for Falcon Mapraids, the impact you made, and how you broke every record and made everybody at Waze’s jaws drop!

Participants in this Office Hours will also be getting a sneak peek at the new Falcon Mapraid forum badge, previews for upcoming Falcon MapRaids, and a guide on how to create a Falcon initiative yourself!

Make sure to register and tune in, because this livestream won’t be posted publicly.

We encourage editors from all regions to join us in either session! Most of the content will be the same, but specific examples in each session will be different, focusing on who will be awake when. For example, the 9:00 AM session will have more examples from APAC, while the 5:00 PM session will include more examples from The Americas. Both sessions will cover examples from EMEA.

Session 1:

Hi everyone!

I wanted to let you know we've updated the above post to be more clear. Sorry for any confusion!

We are excited to see editors from all regions attending this Office Hours. I just want to reassure everyone that all are welcome and all regions will be addressed in both events.

Hey all,

We’d like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the April 2021 Office Hours celebrating the Falcon Mapraid Impact! In our first session we were happily joined by 76 of you, and in the second session we were delighted to be joined by 163 community members who all had amazing questions for Gil!

By the end of the month, your SCM will deliver the Falcon results for your specific community. Stay tuned! :)

In the meantime, if you haven't yet managed to conduct the falcon MapRaid in your country,  we’re happy to share with you our manual for the Falcon Project (embedded below). This manual explains everything you need to know about Falcon, how to conduct a Falcon Mapraid, and the best practices and troubleshooting info. It also summarizes the most important information we have shared about the Falcon MapRaid in previous Office Hours episodes, which are available to watch on our YouTube channel.

Finally, we’d like to take this opportunity to give a huge shout out to Sketch from the US Community, who compiled the majority of the information in this doc!

And for all those who waited patiently, here is the Falcon MapRaid Badge!

Might want to check the timezones - this morning's Office Hours was an hour earlier than advertised.
