Looks good. Hoping to see this on NA servers soon, especially the junction stuff.

So you should already have it "over there" ;)
Indeed I do. Had to clear my cache :) Thanks.

the update request panel is a little weird

(numbers at the bottom, and lots of empty space)

hehe, I know what you mean Thiesen, I didn't read that carefully in the edit box and just pressed where I used to!

For some reason when I have selected multiple roads it seems that "Select all roads inbetween" have been moved to the top... I was expecting to get "Edit road details" :D
Or maybe it's just me that pressed the wrong spot for once.

[updated the wiki changelog to btw]

I was making a new Roundabout tonight, and there seem to be something wrong with the size:
The roundabout is here: http://world.waze.com/cartouche/?zoom=5 ... 1=87580715

And as you can see in this picture:
http://content.screencast.com/users/Nae ... 7_2152.png
instead of showing the radius it's the diameter, I measured it on some other aerials photos to and it should be 90m so the scale in the corner is the right one!

hmm, nothing about that...
I'm just impressed that you even have a TS server for Waze :D
That's pretty nice, makes me think, is there a TS client for Android ;) and wazers can talk at the same time as driving!!! now that would be something for the news

I'm feeling lost... I've been combining roadsegments into single roads since the new version by removing nodes just fine!

And I really can't understand the part of joining 2 different roadtypes... are you meaning that you have one road thats freeway and that becomes a major-highway and you want to remove the junction there... have that ever been possible?

ok lets do some counting.

The "old" way:
1. Select road 1.
2. Select road 2.
3. Select "bridge above mutual node"

Ok, thats 3 clicks

The new way:
1. Select Remove Junction
2. Click the node

And if you don't have a node:
1. Select Road 1.
2. Select Road 2.
3. Click on "Connect roads in order of selection"

The connect roads thing does 1 of 2 things:
a) If the roads is of the same type it joins them together to a single segment.
b) If the roads is two different types of roads it connects them with a node.

Thiesen wrote:PLEASE bring back "Bridge Over Mutual Node"! The way it is now since the change is that I can't make two stretches into the same road anymore. IE, I can't just use the new remove feature if the different parts is not of the same name nor if they are not of the same type.
DITTO!!!!

I had given Waze editing a break for a few days because of the lag and messed up client maps and messed up cartouche that really doesn't seem to be getting addressed and now an excellent function has been removed! Why don't you fix the problems at hand before making more problems!!

I have lots of roads that CAN'T be connected. Why would you possibly remove a vital function like bridge???? Remove junction only works if there is a junction to remove. If you have two road segments that you would just like to turn into one road, it is no longer possible!

That is great IF only it worked that way on the NA server! Half the time I can't connect two road segments!! Same direction, Same name, same road type. Try and connect and just get a fault saying roads can't be connected. The bridge function used to kind of override this fault and just force the 2 road segments together.

When the connect does work it simply joins the 2 roads together and leaves them as separate segments which is extremely annoying. Hence once again the use of the bridge function.

Currently I have 2 road segments that can't be connected, joined or bridged. If they do get connected by overlapping them, I can't remove junction because there isn't one. So it leaves the road as 2 segments with no possible way to just make them one road.

I'm all for making the editing easier but make sure the functions work properly before removing things that have worked in the past.
