Waze forum

New version that bring Windows Mobile up to par with the planned 1.10 line release.
Includes
* Filtering of reports by distance (updated)
* Correction of application freeze after prolonged usage
* Support of Facebook and Twitter traffic related inputs and respond (currently no FB connect is supported)
* Improved address search bar
* Improved zoom when driving through intersections
* Insert existing user name even if skipping it during installation
* Reduction of unnecessary route calculations
* ... and a lot of small bug corrections

A shame that there is still no way to edit the map on the client.

How does this work "Twitter traffic related inputs"?

Have used it yesterday without any problems. Today, however, I couldn't get connection to the GPS... I will try it again a bit later today as it might have something to do with the QuickGPS app that askedme to download the latest data. Will inform later if the GPS thing remains the same or if I can connect again

edit: Tried it again tonight, now there was no problem to find the GPS, so I think either the satellites were hard to be found, or idk what.. but it works again lol

Yeah I installed it when I noticed they were cabs... everything went fine so far, didn't go on the road with it yet though.. planning to go within the next hour or so

You do mean Windows Mobile, I hope?

Problem we have is the application <--> browser integration. That is delaying the scoreboard support and we are still in the thinking phase for that feature.

Seems stable and fast so far.

But the font is a little bit to big, some of the settings descriptions get cut off on the right side.
Also on the main screen, "Ereignisse" (German for events), the right "e" is cut off.

Well.. Everything is better then 1.3.9.0 wich most of us has been using the last months.
But maybe you could send your log files to waze so they could take a look at it?

expect version 2.0 for WM (disregard the number, look at the features, even 1.9.99.x doesn't have features existing in lower numbered Iphone versions) when 2.4 for Iphone is online
Seriously: Only waze know (if anyone at all) but there were posts indicating the next WM version might show up in September/October. But don't hold your breath...
