Announcements only please?

Could I suggest that this forum be locked so that the only posts or topics containing actual announcements from Waze admins and mods takes place in here?
This is so those of us that subscribe to the forum for announcements go not get spammed by the resulting discussions.
Perhaps post a discussion topic for each new announcement in another forum so the discussions can still take place.

It'd be nice if the forum were a little better moderated in general. All suggestions and feature requests should be kept to "Thoughts and Suggestions" and all bug reports should be kept to "Bugs".
