napakalabo naman ng map resolution.

when i use "pave road" on my phone, does that get submitted as an edit on the map? or ako lang ang makakakita nun?

thanks kazmuth. there are areas na malabo pa rin ang pinakamalinaw nyang reso. comparing the same area, mas maganda ang resolution ng google maps and also outdated masyado yung ibang tiles (dun sa bulacan area, may areas pa na palagay ko eh 2 years old na mahigit)

this ability to edit the map is both a boon and a bane. accuracy and consistency are both compromised. kaya pala hindi makakita ng route kasi yung mga kalsada, although it looks ok sa phone, sa map editor pala eh putol-putol and yung junction does not allow entry to the next segment. ibig sabihin, hindi pinagaralan nung nag-draw ng map kung pano ang tamang paggawa ng mga kalye. Kaya for routing, highly unreliable ang waze. For traffic updates, konti pa ang users dito sa atin to get complete traffic situations for your way to work or home or wherever. Kanina, medyo accurate yung ETA ko sa bahay, kasi nagaadjust din sya ng ETA kung nagkakaron ng heavy traffic sa dadaanan.

i hope the developers can integrate Garmin or Open Street Maps.

kazmuth, sayang kung hindi gagamitin ang OSM kasi ang dami na ng mga kalsada dun sa pinas at ang mga contributors sa OSM ay mga GPS hobbyists talaga, who dont rely on online maps to draw maps. majority is from actual GPS tracks. waze is already using POI databases from other apps naman like foursquare, so sana lang naman marealize nila na mas madali iyon.

i actually promoted waze sa yahoogroup ng waypoints.ph. its a group of gps enthusiasts pero parang di sila interesado.

yung isang road na madaming segments kailangan lang yata siguraduhin na yung arrow at the end (when you click it) should be green towards the next segment. pag red, malamang hindi talaga iroroute duon. pero i checked yung sinasabi mo, parang may maliit na line na nakapatong sa isa pang line which is not connected to the previous segment dun sa intersection ng kalayaan/cp garcia. baka kaya nalilito sa routing.

@dhageuk it seems that we both edited the same segments :) pano kaya mangyayari nyan? taga cavite ka din?
