Waze has responded to us that they are working on this issue of old reports not going away. No ETA has been given at this time though. Thanks.

We have seen old reports sticking around this past weekend and have alerted Waze to the issue. Normally user reports can be thumbed down and they will be removed from the map or if no one gives a thumb up, they expire after a certain amount of time. Certain reports such as construction hazards are submitted by Waze partners or editors and will persist for the duration of a project. Sometimes these reports do not get removed properly and we can attempt to remove them manually. Can you tell us the location of the reports that have been around longer than a month so we can take a look at what they are?
