Palm Bay Road Closure - Palm Bay, FL

Beginning today, 4/7/2014, the approximate section of Palm Bay Rd shown here will be closed for 12-15 weeks for the installation of a new drain pipe.

Here is some of the original postings notifying of the impending closure.

We will be adjusting the turn restrictions to prevent routing on the affected segments without deleting the segments. I also want to rename the temporary closed segments with the notice and when the approximate opening date is. Any additional advice on how to handle the closure will be appreciated.

Please explain further what you mean by this: "We will be adjusting the turn restrictions to prevent routing on the affected segments without deleting the segments.
This was a mis-statement on my part. We added time based travel restrictions lasting 24 hours a day to prevent any routing on the roads during the construction.

The road work is complete and the road is now open so the restrictions have been removed.

aarakes and I have been collaborating on this effort. He was referring to renaming "Palm Bay Rd NE" to "Palm Bay Rd NE (Construction)" on the segments to which this applies. However, in a recent PM from txemt to us, he recommended not changing the name but suggested that simply adding notes in the comment section of the restrictions on the Map Editor is sufficient. I have added said notes to those segments.

I'm guessing you mean the restrictions on the segments....not sure about the second part though.
