another route-around-the-triangle

I don't remember where I saw it but there was a recent request for reports of situations like this, where Waze takes an indirect route around a triangle instead of going straight:

I have no idea what the problem is. There is one extra junction on the straight route. I hope someone can figure it out.

This junction (at the south end of Warnick) had issues with reverse connectivity, which I've just corrected. Not sure if that was part of the problem -- we'll have to wait until it updates and then see if any more problems arise there. :?

I think Waze just needs to learn what the transit times are for these segments. Depending on traffic and how you hit the light, I can see that being a valid shortcut.

Only way we can "encourage" the system was if Warnick was a Street instead of a primary. But then we penalize legitimate traffic headed to the north.
