New Guy Advice

Postby GeorgiaBreeze » Wed Dec 10, 2014 5:44 pm

In looking around my town I have become familiar with what appears to be the "proper" way to configure intersections to avoid bad routing and other map errors. It looks like we are to use Box and H junctions as often as possible and not draw out each lane. So when I come across an intersection that is created literally, would this be a problem? https://www.waze.com/editor/?env=usa&lo ... s=68121660

Just looking for advice as a I read and learn.

Breeze, occasionally the chat icon will not be available. Why? I don't know. Keep looking for it:

Hi GeorgiaBreeze,

The section of road you have highlighted was last modified in Sept 2012. The road closure guidelines have changed over time so what was once correct is now incorrect. Now we generally use restrictions to close a road while leaving it attached. In this case the road appears to be permanently closed so I would just delete the segment.
