Reconfiguration and New Roundabout in Swarthmore

Post by steinbdj
I gather from some UR's that the reconfiguration of the intersection of SR-320 and Rutgers Ave in Swarthmore into a roundabout is now complete. (Permalink) I haven't been able to find a map or an up-to-date satellite image to update the map and I haven't been in the area since the construction was completed. If anyone goes through that area regularly and is able to update the map, I think it's likely to cause a fair amount of confusion (and thus URs) until we get it updated.

I created the roundabout. I drove past there not too long ago, it wasn't done but it was close to completion.

I know this is old, but the roundabout is complete, and people do not know how to drive through it! Be defensive folks!

This article has construction starting in August and expected to last about 6 months. So that seems about right. And this page has a general plan of how it's supposed to work, but I don't want to change the map without actually having seen the changes. So I'm hoping someone has actually been through the area recently and can do it.

We can't do anything about driving skills or road design. The best we can do is to try to make the Waze nav instructions useful.

Is Waze giving the correct instructions at the correct time?
