Just a few comments:
- So far we have been recommending not snapping ANY landmark to road segments.
- I don't make the junction landmarks follow reality too much (fence lines, property boundaries, road shoulders, etc) EXCEPT where there is really a business/residence close by. Then I will avoid that entity. Otherwise simple rough shapes with limited geometry points work fine.
- We don't want the landmark huge for no reason, but the larger it is, the more likely it will show up on the map.
- I usually consider both exiting and entering traffic, so I'd at least TRY having the toll plaza and ramps from US-1 included with the Bensalem landmark. If it looks bad, then I'd cut it down.
That is what has worked for me at least. You guys can see how it works in reality though, so I'll trust your opinions. I won't be up north again until mid/late September and I don't spend too much time on the PA Tpk anymore.
