After changing the segments to walking trail the segment speeds of the parallel roads have decreased drastically from 100 km/h to normal within 2 months or less. I have deleted a few parallel roads and added them again to the map to check the munching process, it took about two months until they have been munched. I was even travelling by train to check the routing and if it would be sticky. It depends on train category... a regional train stops more so it is possible that waze jumps around at a station which causes rerouting. But mostly it was sticky depending on GPS and the situation nearby. Then modern train bad reception, older train better reception... electric powerline, a lot of tunnels and mountains. Well, it's not perfect but the walking trail had stored speeds within a couple of days, it seems we have a few train freaks here.
Personally i think it has more positive than negative effects to (ab)use walking trails for this.We already faced issues with reports pinned to walking trails instead of nearby roads
So far i didn't experienced this. but i can imagine that it happens.

K valcovani na okraj: mam takovy pocit, ze v klientu je to valcovani jen takove online divadelko pro usera. V realu se validita valcovani resi asi nekde na serveru. V mape editoru tak lze vyvalcovat cestu, ktera tam neni, ale je videt v klientu (treba proto, ze ji nekdo v editoru smazal) a naopak nelze duplicitne vyvalcovat cestu, ktera v klientu neni, ale v editoru uz ano...
