Website still showing the TBD delay. The current restriction preventing two way traffic on Commerce Street remains in place until 2/18 so will need to change this if an updated schedule is not provided prior to that date

Newest town update "Due to cold temperatures or rain that has affected the painting portion of implementing the traffic plan, the earliest the Town may start this project is the week of February 18th. Staff will further evaluate the weather as this date gets closer and we will communicate the exact start date when it has been determined."
Will hold out till the end of next week hoping for better information before changing the Commerce Street restrictions

For anyone who missed the discussion on Discord, Centreville is noting line painting on Commerce St will begin Tuesday 2/20 in the AM and two way traffic on Commerce will begin "Late Tuesday Night" 2/20. This is still weather dependent

Just confirming changes are in place now. Commerce and W Water streets are two way and Liberty is local traffic only with barricades noting the same at cross streets. This will last months now until work shifts to Commerce and Liberty goes two way

Intersection at Liberty Street & Broadway will be closed to all traffic 3/26-3/28

An update from the Town of Centreville webpage... perhaps later this month they will be ready to reopen Liberty Street

Liberty Street / Commerce Street Project Update

Please be advised that beginning Monday, August 6th (weather permitting), the Town’s contractor will begin boxing out sections of the sewer and water trench repairs on Liberty Street and will then follow-up with paving. This will begin on North Liberty Street by Corsica Technologies on Monday, August 6th and continue south approximately 200 feet per day.

Residents are advised to find alternative parking during this time (approximately two days for each section) until each section is opened back up to traffic. No daytime or overnight parking will be permitted in areas blocked off for daily construction. Once each section is opened and the contractor moves to the next section, parking will then be permitted in the completed section.

Liberty Street Closed Between Broadway and Water Street - August 9th & 10th

Please be advised of the following construction update taking place on Liberty Street between Broadway and Water Street.

Liberty Street will be closed between Broadway and Water Street on Thursday, August 9th and Friday, August 10th. As a result, Lawyers Row will be closed to thru traffic during these two days. Parking will be available on Lawyers Row however; you must enter and exit onto Commerce Street.
The intersection of Broadway and Liberty Street will be closed Friday, August 10th beginning at 7:00 a.m. It will re-open at the end of the day at approximately 5:00 p.m.
